| EXPRESSIONS OF LIFE is a two act comedy set in present day New York City. Perry Green (aka Greenblatt) is a young man in his early to mid twenties desperately looking to find out who he is and what life is really all about. This becomes complicated on several levels by Jonelle, a black wantabe singer who is his next door neighbor and thinks she has all the answers. Perry's new boyfriend, who is about to move in, turns out not to be who Perry thought he was, and now his mother arrives, unannounced from Florida, with some pretty startling revelations of her own. In the process of this comic "mishagass" Perry finally comes to understand some of the answers he's been seeking. Characters: Perry, early twenties, Jewish; Jonelle, black, Diva-in-the-making; Chyrs, Perry's boyfriend, looks FABULOUS in woman's clothes; Rebecca, Perry's mother; Syd, Rebecca's friend, slightly her junior.
