JEFFERSON CHARLES BEEKER
Jefferson was born and raised in Washington, D.C. and grew up with a keen interest in theatre and government, as well as a passion for American History.  Growing up in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) his family has been members of the denomination for six generations.
Jefferson recently began his fourth year on the ministerial staff of the First Christian Church of North Hollywood, California as an Associate Minister.  He has been assisting in the four weekly English language worship services as well as in the planning of additional programs and ministries.  Especially exciting is a Healing Touch Ministry and the Wednesday evening Prayer, Guided Meditation and Communion Service, now also in it's third year. Working with the children's programs, as well as with the seniors, has been especially meaningful.  He is continuing his seminary education, toward future ordination, pursuing the Master's of Divinity degree through San Francisco Theological  Seminary in Pasadena.  Previously Jefferson directed the Youth Program at the Hollywood-Beverly Christian Church in Hollywood, California, which included a summer theatre program for youth and he served in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Regional Office for the Pacific Southwest Region, assisting the Senior Associate Regional Minister. .

Jefferson studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York after attending Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland and Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. 
*Trivia point:  The First Christian Church of North Hollywood is frequently used in motion pictures and television, most notably the TV series
7th Heaven, as well as the new.Indiana Jones film.
